The Timpanogos Bluegrassroots festival is proud to bring another year of rollicking, knee thumping, handclapping, finger pickin’, voice raising family-friendly music under the beautiful Wasatch Mountains.
On Friday, June 24th, The Timpanogos Bluegrassroots Festival welcomes John McEuen and original members of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Rise Up Children’s Choir, and Utah’s own Molly in the Mineshaft for a wonderful summer evening concert. Events will begin at 6:30 pm at Timpanogos High School football stadium with Rise Up Children’s Choir, Utah’s premiere contemporary youth choral program. In June 2022, Rise Up Children’s Choir will perform at the invitation of the United States Department of Defense at the D-Day Commemoration in Normandy, and at the Madeleine Cathedral in Paris, France.
Next on the program, Molly In The Mine Shaft will get the audience going with some of their enthusiastic renditions of bluegrass and folk favorites. John McEuen with other Nitty Gritty Dirt Band members will inspire us with “Will the Circle Be Unbroken?” and other favorites from his long list of hits. Spanning a career of over 6 decades, John McEuen’s music continues to warm the hearts of people of all ages and brings us together in our American tradition of folk and bluegrass music.
